Not even Barbie Hsu’s untimely death could stop South Korean musician Koo Jun-yup from celebrating the third anniversary of their marriage, declaring that he will love the Taiwanese actress “forever.”

Hsu died of influenza-induced pneumonia last February 2, which was confirmed by her younger sister Dee a day later. Her remains were cremated and were brought home to Taiwan four days later.

On Instagram, Koo expressed his love for his late wife on Saturday, February 8, which coincided with their wedding anniversary.

“I love you forever,” he wrote in Korean.

Koo’s post came two days after declaring that he would hand over Hsu’s wealth “entirely” to her mother and would consult legal means to protect the actress’ children while reiterating that “wicked people” will never touch them. However, he didn’t disclose who he was referring to in his post.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said Friday that the country’s general wholesale price index (GWPI) slowed to 1.9 percent in August from the previous month’s 2.4 percent. On the other hand, the general retail price index (GRPI) in Metro Manila eased to 1.4 percent from 1.9 percent.

Koo and Hsu dated in 1998 and broke up two years later. More than 20 years after their split, they rekindled their relationship and tied the knot in 2022.

Hsu was married to Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei in 2011 until their divorce was finalized in 2021. Their post-divorce affairs were reportedly tumultuous, with Wang being accused of not fulfilling his financial agreement and leaking the actress’ personal information online.
